Sussex Vineyard Wedding

Emma and Bobo had a stunning Sussex Vineyard Wedding this September. They came to me 3 years after I photographed Emma’s sister Sophies Wedding. It’s always a pleasure to have a family invite you back again for another precious day and really flattering.  Emma and Bobo and I met up earlier this year  for a pre wedding shoot. From our time together I knew we were going to have such great fun for  their Sussex Vineyard Wedding. I wasn’t wrong!

These guys looked super stylish and I do love a Black tie Wedding. The wedding took place in Alfrisiton, a quiet village in Sussex that I often go to for a chilled out lunch on a weekend. So it was lovely to see all the girls walking through the village on their way to the church on the green. It felt really special.

Alfriston Ceremony

The getting ready part of the day is always part of the day that I love  and you can never know how it’s going to go. Before I went to the girls I dropped in on Bobo and his boys at Alfriston where they were having a very chilled out morning.

I was greeted by a very chilled out scene when I arrived with all the girls getting ready in various rooms. Emma was getting ready upstairs and the window light was just perfect and the photos from here are some of my favourite of the day. Prior to the reception for this beautiful Sussex Vineyard Wedding we were in Alfristion for the ceremony. This is where Emma’s family are from and it’s such a beautiful sussex village and the church set in the village green is perfect.

Rathfinny Wine Estate

On the last sunny day of the summer and after some family photos in the shade outside the church we made our way to Rathfinny Estate for the beautiful reception. I love photographing weddings in Vineyards and its not just because I love wine! To photograph a Sussex Vineyard Wedding is even more special. Who needs Tuscany when 30 minutes from Brighton we have acres an acres of vines.

Dancing the night away

This was a FUN crowd and the dancing in the eying was full on! There is nothing better than a full dance floor for us photographers. Loved it!!

 

 

Big family weddings such as this are so amazing to capture. It’s so hard to get everyone together at one time and thats just the very basic reason that weddings days are so special and why you needed it documented well. You’ll probably never get these people all together again!
