Kew Gardens Wedding

Meredith and Gautam had the most beautiful floral-filled Kew Gardens wedding last summer. This was a wedding filled with flowers, colors, and lovely people. Kew Gardens is a venue I wanted to shoot at for such a long time and it really lived up to my expectations. There are many areas to have your wedding at Kew gardens and we were in the really lovely Cambridge Cottage.

I first met Meredith’s family through shooting weddings as her Mum is an incredible florist, as you will see here. The flowers were actually glorious, not a word I would normally use but it is apt for this wedding. I am always flattered when a fellow wedding supplier trusts me with their wedding. They have probably worked with hundreds of photographers so I know that when they chose me they knew my style matched others exactly. This wedding was full of color and I love to use color as an added tool to my storytelling. I like strong but not oversaturated colors, as real to-life as I possibly can get.

Meredith and Guatam are a beautiful couple and they had so much time for all the guests at the wedding. It really felt like a very inclusive wedding in terms of family and friends all being equally involved. What made it even more special was Meredith’s sister being the celebrant. The hand fasting ceremony was gorgeous and such a wonderful way to get everyone involved.

I hope you enjoy these photos, it really was a pleasure to be part of this wedding and I am so lucky that I get to shoot at such wonderful venues with such lovely, creative people.
