Edinburgh Castle Wedding

Edinburgh castle wedding

Natasha and Will gathered all their friends and family for the most stunning Edinburgh Castle Wedding. It was the most perfect spring wedding and after waiting 2 years to finally get their post covid wedding it was brilliant to join them. I couldn’t believe it when we finally got to Scotland after such a long wait and I was so happy for Natasha and Will who are genuinely the loveliest people.

I had never shot a wedding in Edinburgh before and it did not disappoint! What an incredible city,. I can’t wait to shoot there again.

Natasha got ready at the beautiful Raeburn Hotel and then we all headed to Canongate Kirk for the ceremony, another fantastic venue! We had the most beautiful March weather for this Edinburgh Castle wedding and Edinburgh looked beautiful in the spring sunshine.

Once we got to Edinburgh Castle it was truly magical to be greeted by the Scottish piper! We were in The Queen Anne room which gave us great access to the very top of the castle which gave us great views of the city.

The whole day was full of laughs and fun. The post covid weddings really have been a pleasure to be part of. It really was just a time to let go and to have a cèilidh band was perfect!!
If you are having an Edinburgh wedding you have to have all the trimmings I think,. the Piper, the cèilidh band, the tweed suit, do it all! Oh and the scottish castle!

I would love to travel to Scotland again for a wedding so do get in touch if you would like to book me, it’s an easy trip for me from Brighton.
