A Sussex garden wedding
A Sussex garden wedding
Holly and Pim had a Sussex garden wedding on a beautiful summers day. This was a wedding that had been postponed ( another one) due to lockdown so I was thrilled to finally photograph this gorgeous wedding. I first met Holly when I photographed her Uncle’s wedding at the family home a couple of years back. We got chatting about photography as she too is a photographer. When she got in touch to say she was getting married I was thrilled because I knew her style and vision for the wedding would match mine.
A Village Church Ceremony
Holly and Pip chose to have their ceremony and their local village church and it was made even more special by having their family dog as a special guest. Dogs at weddings are always a big bonus for me!!

A Blessing by The Lake
For me, this was the highlight of the day. Holly and Pim came back to Holly’s family home and had an incredibly touching blessing by the family lake. This is a spot that means so much to them and their family. I was over the moon that we got beautiful light for this, the day before the weather had been truly awful! This was so personal and a part of the wedding day that I think everyone will always remember.

Evening Portraits
As this was late September we had our evening portraits just before dinner. I love to shoot when the sun is lower in the sky. It’s a time when usually the couples are much more relaxed and that makes our time together very comfortable and fun. This whole wedding was beautiful, meaningful and so personal.
