Wedding St George’s kemptown
Wedding St George’s, kemptown
Poppy and Jack had their wedding at St George’s Church, Kemptown, Brighton right as lockdown was lifting. One thing I have loved about Post Covid wedding is that people have gone for exactly the kind of wedding they want and not the type of wedding they should have.
I love a Brighton wedding, it’s where I am most familiar with and I love an intimate Brighton wedding even more! For Poppy and Jack getting ready at home and strolling down the hill to the most beautiful Kemptown church to get married was perfect. Having moved to Brighton just the year before this seemed to forever root them in this area and community.
After a beautiful, personal ceremony Poppy, Jack and I walked, in the rain, back to their home. This area is so incredibly colourful and the houses could only be in Brighton so we had to capture that. I always take a very casual and relaxed approach to my shots of y couples. Walking and talking as we go means that nothing is staged or forced.
Brighton Wedding
A Brighton wedding will always be special to me and I like to offer my local knowledge to help you decide where might be best for photos. If you are local you may well have some favourite spots that we can take a stroll to. If you are coming to Brighton specifically to get married, we will use the parts of town that photograph well and maybe suit you two as a couple. Locations could be maybe The North Lanes, or The Beach, we have so much to choose from really. The main thing is that you are comfortable and where we shoot suits you as a couple.
