Eve and Leon, one big happy party!
This fun wedding at The Gatsby Berkhampstead epitomises a wedding where its all about the interactions between family and friends. Eve and Leon wanted a fun wedding photographed in a relaxed, documentary style way with a focus on capturing the moments between their guests. The big thing about this wedding for me was that I was hired by creatives who had a clear vision of what they wanted and trusted me, my experience and style to deliver that for them.
When your clients are a Bafta Award winning Production designer and Art Director you kind of have to up your game!!! My job was made easy though. Lots of colourful characters, fun folk and fun times meant there was plenty for me to point my camera at. The ceremony was at The Town Hall in Berkhampstead with a brilliant party at The Gatsby in Berkampstead afterwards. Eve and Leon loved that everyone walked out of the ceremony carrying balloons straight into the Saturday market on the High street.
This was a day that was all about the people there, the amazing friends and family that support and love these tow as a couple. They were a brilliant crowd that I loved getting to know. I felt like I was hanging out with old friends all day long.
I love too that they were just happy for me to get on with my job. To be in the background most of the day but popping up here and there to capture key moments. Thats what I do best and I’m thrilled with what I captured here.
