Sussex Village Wedding
Katie and Simon’s Sussex Village wedding started at Hurstpierpoint, just a little way outside Brighton last Summer. This wedding was gorgeous!!!! A real classic english wedding with so much style. The reception was in the beautiful Queens Hall in Cuckfield and Katie and Simon decorated it all themselves and it was really stunning!! It’s a lot to take on a blank canvas for your wedding reception venue but it can mean you can add so many details that wouldn’t be possible anywhere else. These guys had great taste and the end result was perfection.
I went to Katie and Simon’s house in the morning to photograph the girls getting ready and there was such a lovely relaxed atmosphere. When it came time to get ready it was fantastic for her to have her Mum there with her who actually works in a wedding dress shop, what more could you want!
We were blessed with beautiful light for this wedding and I am so grateful to Katie and Simon for taking a bit of time to enjoy that with me to capture some beautiful portraits after dinner.
