Marta and Martyn had a tiny Rye Camber Sands wedding at The George in Rye recently followed by a little trip to the beach for some photos. I love shooting small weddings, that intimate atmosphere is a nice change from larger weddings. I have noticed that people think that a small wedding is quite low key and don’t expect to be so emotional about it. You can never be sure of your emotions and its often the small wedding that can suddenly bring tears to the eyes when no one was expecting it. This time it was Martyn who was overwhelmed. Bless him, seeing Marta walk towards him just caught him off guard. These two are a beautiful couple, they just seemed so right together.
There were only maybe 15 of us in total on the day, all close family from Poland and here in the UK. The George is a venue I shoot at a lot of course and they do these small weddings beautifully. After the small but emotional ceremony we went for a walk around Rye which of course is always picture perfect. I was thrilled too when Marta and Martyn said they wanted to got to Camber Sands for photographs after as we had quite a bit of time before they were having dinner with everyone back at The George.
Camber Sands is a stunning beach and I love sooting there. I think the two totally relaxed when they goth there and it was so worth it for the photos we captured there.
So a perfect combination really, a Rye and Camber Sands wedding
