A Royal Pavilion and Brighton wedding, a fun Brighton beach wedding
Royal Pavilion Brighton wedding
Emilienne and Nicolas had a beautiful Royal Pavilion Brighton wedding at Easter. Emilienne is from the US and Nicolas is French so having their wedding in their adopted home of Brighton was extra special. They have been living in a stunning flat in one of Brighton’s historic squares ( Sussex Square) and wanted to have lots of photos there. Sussex Square gardens are fantastic and only residents are allowed in so it was a great treat to be allowed in. Once we got there we bumped into the Easter Bunny so of course that was pretty cool. From the square there is a secret passage which takes you straight to the seafront and we got some great photos on the way through. I love a couple who want to take time for photography and at the first meeting I had with Emilienne and Nicolas it was clear that photography was super important to them.
We headed to Royal Pavilion Brighton for the wedding ceremony which is always a pleasure. All the guests were from France or the US and the Royal Pavilion is a beautiful building to share with your guests. I got married there and I wanted my guest who were form all over to really enjoy the experience of being there. And they did!
The reception was at AL Fresco’s on Brighton seafront and we had such a great time walking through town. I always say it but Brighton itself becomes a special part of the day. There’s always a great buzz around and people are thrilled to see a happy wedding party walking through the streets.
Emilienne really wanted a sunset and we got one! I’m so glad I got to photograph this wedding. They were fun, gorgeous and truly amazing to photograph. Wishing them and their cute cats a happy future here in Brighton and beyond x
