Jen and Tom had a beautiful laid back Brighton wedding this summer. One thing I am loving since Covid is at home weddings! I really hope they are here to stay. Having your reception in the home you created together seems like the most wonderful idea to me. I arrived and Jen and Tom's on the outskirts of Brighton early in the morning for all the prep and to meet their dog, I was especially looking forward to that!!
After a slight blip in the car not showing up we made our way to Brighton Town Hall, home to many a laid back Brighton wedding! Right now not many people are allowed into the main ceremony but those that couldn't were happy to wait outside. It was a beautiful ceremony actually and i noticed that Jen kept saying, it's really happening, it's really happening. I guess after 3 delays its hard for that to actually sink in!
Brighton wedding
No Brighton wedding is complete without a stroll along the seafront. I'm not really a photographer who will take cheesy photos of you on the beach but I like to find ways to incorporate all the landmarks as we stroll along. I loved the shots of Jen and Tom walking on the seafront and a store front in The Lanes proved a gorgeous backdrop for some of my favourite images.
My Style
My style is always very relaxed and laid back. I am there with you on the day, simply recording what is happening. I take you off for a little bit on your own but again, like you will see here, the photos are very unobtrusive and unposed.
