Laura and Sue had a big gorgeous, fabulous and brilliant Brighton wedding at Fabrica and Brighton Town Hall. I have been dying to share this wedding for ages but Laura and Sue decided to bugger off to South East Asia for two months and save their photos till they came back. I think it was worth the wait though. The venues for this wedding were perfect. I have shot many, many weddings in Brighton Town Hall over the years but this was my first time shooting in the newly available newly available Lord Mayor’s Parlour and it was gorgeous. Also Fabrica, the fantastic gallery in the middle of the Lanes in Brighton is a stunning venue and Laura and Sue decorated it beautifully. The third venue was Brighton itself, the perfect backdrop to this perfect wedding. It was at the end of the festival in Brighton and there was still such a buzz around. Laura and Sue got an amazing reaction as we wandered around Spiegal Tent, the beach and the north laines later. Random silent disco involvement and girls giving them oversized flowers seemed very much in fitting with this fab day.
I love a First Look and Laura and Sue decided to see each other just before they went into the Lord Mayors Chamber to be married. Oh, the emotions!!!! That made me cry for sure, these two are proper in love and being there as they saw each other for the first time on their wedding day was pretty special. After that Sue managed to get lost on the way down the aisle (!) and the laughs started and never stopped for the rest of the day.
I have to give a big shout to the DJ Mitch Mathews, he rocked the party big time and I love the photos I got of everyone dancing their socks off.
I loved, loved, loved this wedding and I know I will see Sue and Laura again cos they’re really bloody cool chicks xxx
